Well it has been just over two weeks and the Winter Solstice has come and gone, the bees have already sensed it coming queens have started to lay up small sections of comb within the cluster. On those mild days, the foragers are collecting pollen, the colonies are awakening from their winter clusters to repair and prepare the adjacent combs. Winter has overall seemed mild there are cold days for sure but overall the some of the deciduous trees are showing new growth and up north there are drones being layed and some already hatching. While the potential challenges of August with it's erratic weather patterns is still not here
